How long does it take to produce a video from start to finish?

For most basic projects—such as event coverage, testimonials, or branded content—the turnaround is typically about a week after filming.However, if your project involves multiple locations, follows a set timeline (like a contractor build), includes advanced production elements (such as 10-bit log filming or detailed color grading), or is an event with additional deliverables like reels or testimony packages, the timeline may be extended.We aim to deliver quickly without sacrificing quality. More complex projects are always discussed in detail beforehand to ensure expectations are clear on both sides. Our goal is to deliver results that not only meet—but exceed—expectations.

Can we plan ahead of time or do you just show up?

We absolutely plan ahead—because just showing up and hitting record isn’t our style.Before filming, we schedule a pre-production conversation to align on your goals, ideas, and content wishlist. Whether it's through a discovery call or an in-person walk-through, we take the time to set the standard and make sure you're comfortable on camera. Most of our clients aren’t professional speakers—and that’s perfectly fine. Preparation helps us capture the best content and set you up for success.While we’re great at capturing memorable moments and the standout shots that make your event shine, we also weave it all together into a finished product that’s more than just a memory. What factors influence the cost of video production and editing?

One of the most common questions we (and every other videographer) hear is:“It’s only a 30-second or 1-minute video—how much could it cost?”

Here’s the facts: you're not paying for the length of the finished video—you're paying for what it takes to create it.Some of the most elaborate commercials on TV are just 30 seconds long… but they may have involved 5 different locations, multiple setups, lighting changes, gear, crew, and hours of planning and editing. Time still plays a role, even if most professionals charge by the deliverable.

When done right, a well-crafted short video can lead to real business—bringing in new clients, sponsors, donors, new partners, or future bookings. In that sense, the return can be priceless.
